Comics: The challenge

Image
It’s so fast to gain back when you just lose it… now I’m trying my best to not over eat because yoga studios are still closed and there’s no dine in. Hope we can reopen successfully next week!

Comics: Things we pick up during lockdowns

Hopefully we can dine out soon!

Comics: Why I'm dieting

Image
Some of my readers had been discouraging me to lose weight so here’s why I’m on a diet 😏 My diet log here:  https://www.instagram.com/eva.kopi.matcha/ (P.S. I have high LDL cholesterol)

Comics: The Small Struggle

Image
Fans who have been following me on FB/IG stories will know that I signed up for a 3-months lifestyle plan and consultation from a dietician to change my diet. 🎯The target is to shed 5 kg within 3 months and also reduce my high cholesterol at the same time. I'm logging in my food pics to keep track of what I eat on IG @eva.kopi.matcha to remind myself 😅 🤞🏻Hope I can wear my pre-lockdown clothes again and also clear my health screening this year!

Comics: Online yoga class

Image
I think my yoga teachers work very hard during online class sessions! 💪🏻 I’ve been doing online yoga classes with Yoga Inc weekly and the rest of the days were 1-hour long morning walks. I find that it helps relief stress and any built up frustration from being trapped at home (aside from dehumidifying my body) and hope it works for any of you feeling the same 🙏🏻 (I’m now on Telegram too! https://t.me/evacomics )

Comics: Yoga is like Life

Image
I used to envy people who could do those difficult arm balances and inversions and tried my best to do them too. But after injuring my upper back late last year due to overwork and bad drawing posture, I’ve gradually learnt to take it easy.

Yoga Comics: Engaging the Tummy

Image
Another yoga Instagram account was sharing my old work so I suddenly gain a lot of followers. Since my health is getting better now (and my tummy size is getting bigger), I will be trying to go for more yoga classes and do more comics based on my practice again, hope you all will like it!

Comics: How to Irritate Your Students

Image
Applicable to other kinds of classes too!

Comics: How to irritate your yoga teacher

Image
Since my surgeon gave me the green light to continue my yoga classes, I have returned back to my usual classes, but I only attend them twice a week. Not sure if I will increase in the future but I think I'll take it slowly for now. Guest appearance: Classmate and patreon Colin!

Comics: Oops

Though my yoga teacher says the weight gain could be muscles...

Comics: How yoga help in losing weight

Image
Based on true story, shouldn't have eaten so much before the classes that happen after lunch/dinner.

Comics: I did not know yoga can be dangerous

Image
Happened to me on a Saturday class, which half of the students were pretty advance. I was nearly kicked left and right on the face but I won't really wear a helmet to class... I will continue to practice my dodging skill...

Comics: The twist

Image
Not sure if the body works like a cloth filled with fats, I could twist these out of the body for a slimmer waist!

Comics: How it feels like in chaturanga and inversion

Image
Chaturanga is a yoga pose by going into plank first, then bend your elbows while keeping it close to the body... nothing else touches the ground except for hands and toes... hold there for a few breaths, ouch... I have a pear shape body so I have difficulty doing arm balances because of my heavy bottom and narrow shoulders. Chaturanga is therefore difficult for me as well since it relies on the shoulder strength while keeping the belly in... well... supposedly in. On the other hand, inversions feel like I'm trying to lift a bunch of fats while I'm upside down...
